Myrtle Thomas’ mini album: The Beauties Of My Yard

Photographer’s Note: These are just a few of the different flowers in our yard , the beauty of new life, the scent of spring and summer . We tended their fragile roots ,the sprigs and sprouts bought and gifted to us through the years. The new shoots that were given to me by my brothers remind me of their faces and laughter we shared. Sometimes it’s hard to imagine the life in the dried stems and the leaves that have fallen to the ground.

Myrtle Thomas lives in the USA and writes contemporary poetry. She watches the flowers that she use to tend and care for from her window these days.
