Seema Prusty‘s poem: Hope

Hope- started as a seedling inmost,

Visited me in times of need-

Beckoned expectations,

Assured me to sail to my destination,

Only to vanish into a mirage.

Made me my own enemy.

As I allowed to spring inside me

This unstoppable fire-

Eluded me of the happiness I deserved.

Untamed me,

Unable to silence its fury-

The Pandora box I opened

For my selfish pursuit of happiness.
