Vivian De Cecco’s image story: Dressed In Nature

Artist’s Note: Nature bestows joy, serenity, harmony, and beauty. Brightly colored flowers, green leaves, and uniquely shaped shells adorn the bodies of women who dream, dance, or simply reflect. These drawings symbolize an unbreakable connection to the earth, plants, sea, and woods. All of the pieces are handmade using watercolors, India ink, and pastels. I also created the dresses of the female figures using a collage of my own photographs, such as the swan and flowers. The flowers used are: Yellow Climber Rose, Hybrid Rose Prince Ranieri III, White Garden Rose, African Daisy, and Ivy Leaves.
