There was a sloth named Kania. She lived in the deep dark woods with her mother, her father, and her little sister. And she liked to swim and climb trees. But she was v-e-r-y s-l-o-w!

The next day she wore her socks for climbing skills. She was very slow but she reached the top of the rock climbing wall. Once she reached home, she kept the socks down for naptime and when she woke up the socks were gone. They were blown away in the wind. Kania was so slow that she could not even get it and a wolf ate the socks.

Then she was sad and she ran to her mom. Her mom asked her, “what happened?” and Kania said a wolf ate the socks. Kania said she feels so so sad because she loved her special socks that her best friend Cantcha gave her. Then Kania said to her mom, “I am so slow. I couldn’t catch the socks.” Her mom said, “I am going to give you a sloth hug! We are supposed to be slow.”

Kania said, “ok!” She went to the Sloth-library to find books about sloths who felt sad because they were slow and then she learned that even if they were slow they still were a little fast.
She came home then she saw the new socks. Her mom said, “Cantcha gave these new socks!”
