Tha Ono’s poem: If This Was A Movie

Sound check.

Quiet on set.

Death scene.

Action.

Lost in translation

How does it end ?

My soul bleeds

And Cut.

Great take on a life that was

If this was a movie would I be alive ?

Would I be buried deep ?

Will I be the Anti-Hero ?

Will I be the villain ?

Deep cuts and I don't mean the film footage

The reels of carnage are real

The torment of mind scarred

Lost footage of life.

Dreading who I am

Casting aside who I was

Last dance

Eras lost on footage once black and white.

Scream colour even more gore,

Everyone's fool, they just want more.

If this was a movie

Run time would end

Ha more like ground hog day

We watch it begin again.

I am legend.

Ha Legendary Fool.

Nothing good starts in a getaway car

I'm on the run you fool.

Lost footage.

Lost verses.

Losing self.

Bound and gagged

Life is cruel.

Washed up,

Has been,

Wait for the footage to release.

If this was a movie

Theatre cleared

Would the audience see the pain ?

Or will the doom be revered ?

Cut Cut Cut.

Nonsense evermore.

Exiled after the footage

Gone Gone Gone.

Fin.

End.

If it was a movie lost footage locked away

Never to be seen again.
