Somali Mukherjee’s four short poems

Dreadful Dreams

Trying to survive,

I began dreaming each day;

That tore me apart.

The Tornado

I fall every time,

Whenever I try to stand

Firmly on my feet.

Chatterboxes

People will chatter;

They must be there to distract

Your concentration.

The Streak of Light

The long wintry nights

Might seem heartless, too heartless,

Until it’s Christmas.

Somali Mukherjee was born in 1993. From a very young age, she fosters an unshakable passion to vent her thoughts and emotions in various ways, especially by penning poems.
