Muhsin Baban Inna’s poem: The Strategies of a Mothers and the Quills of her Son

"and believe in your pen

it'll rewrite the story"

and i saw Saheed rewriting the stars

in his journal

what else would stop a man from departure?

and i saw the dwellers of the earth elements rotten like tomatoes

and i saw Charles Lee Ray exiled by his mighty Damballa

what else would stop a man from controlling the powers of beauty and nature?

and i saw the Shakespeare's thousands of words in to English

hey! what else would stop a man by redrawing the moon?

and i see the stars everyday in the sky, bigger than my sight smaller than my thought

then what on earth can stop me from dreaming big?

i saw Maya Angelou trying to cage bird in her piece

and the Dada Shoyinka's Chronicles of the most happiest people on earth isn't fiction

then what the hello would make Mama tell lies?

"i can see a broken glass and try to rearrange it, but not the broken heart though

the broken hearts can still breath, but never brake'em

'cause the broken heart's stories can never be rewritten

don't go out of time and not out of hope

believe in yourself (you're the pen)

you'll rewrite the story".
