Binod Dawadi’s digital art story: Abstraction in patterns

With the advent and rocketesque development of digital media, the field of fine art has taken an interesting turn. The domain can now be explored and populated by artists who wouldn’t use an easel, brush or colour pallets, but imaginative prompts to make abstract artwork. Alongside artists are also using computers and other electronic interfaces to digitise their artworks. This album is such a collection where abstraction is portrayed through a splash of colours. It is almost akin to words coming out of stream of consciousness. There is a simple process of digitising these art works. The first step is to create this on a paper with real colours. Then one needs to take high resolution photographs of these, even with a mobile phone. The next process involves ‘liquifying’ them with certain apps that are available on the phone or internet. There are various other image processing softwares as well to ‘liquify’ the images of these art works. This particular album explores various moods experienced by the artist.
