Alshaad Kara’s poem: The day I lost you

No pain is greater than grief,

As death itself has lost its heart

In full incomprehension.

There is no memory worse

Than any memorial attended.

The urge to not believe

Is a disbelief

Atrociously painted

In the agony.

It is a cycle that destroys

The vision to lament

Or cry to a grave

Because life beyond

Mortality is locked

In a coffin for perpetuity.
