Adriana Rocha‘s poem: Mirror

On a summer Sunday,

after taking a shower,

I feel my skin,

I find me beautiful,

I am only thirty,

I am still called young lady,

I keep stealing male eyes

that follow the curves

of my body,

I look beautiful,

I feel powerful,

I need a tool

that allows me

to contemplate

my body armor,

I grabbed my camera,

I used the floor

and I thanked

the mirror

for being the witness

of my femininity.
