Koushik Saha and Argha De‘s collaborative work: Through the hourglass

As the smoke from the chimneys

Envelopes and relieves the earth

of our worthless selves,

each and every leaf holds on to the green

of the chlorophyll in a last act of resistance.

With each heave as we leave

the remembrance of our existence behind,

Perhaps our ghosts will look on to the

vast emptiness and be life as it is meant to be.
